I met Debra Jo at Devin Devasquez's house and got to photograph her when I was still shooting film with my Nikon FE and I shot one full rool of her rolling on Devin's bed. Debra Jo and her husband are among the nicest people I've ever met. At the time I didn't know who she was but I noticed not only she was a beautiful person and an amazing looking woman with hair that looked like silk.

Debra Jo Fondren was Playboy magazine's Playmate of the Month for the September 1977 issue and Playmate of the Year for 1978. She was a favorite of many photographers thanks to her long blonde hair, which fell past her knees when she posed for Playboy.
Today, Fondren no longer participates in Playboy promotions because they place "too much emphasis on sex." In 2004 Fondren shut down her personal website.
Fondren lives in Hollywood and she is a Registered Nurse for several hospitals in the Los Angeles area.
